Yvette fit right in at work but she didn’t get to talk to Eddie much that week. The following weekend she and Sally went shopping again and Yvette’s wardrobe began to fill out. She was more comfortable with stockings all the time and began to really enjoy their feel. She still wanted to apologize to Eddie because she felt that he was avoiding her a little. Late that afternoon she passed Eddie in the hallway and neither of them seemed in a hurry right then.
“Oh Eddie,” said Yvette. “Didn’t you go to State University?”
