I had been cutting Mrs. Barons’ lawn for about 5 years now. She and her
husband moved in right after they were married, he was 20, she was 19 and just
out of high school. Mrs. Barons’ husband left her last year and she was
divorced now but she got to keep the house, so I still had a summer job doing
