OFF TO THE CLINIC
Ellen quickly grabbed up her silk nightgown, and, after wrapping Bobby in it, she hustled the boy outside, and into her Firebird. Having draped him in the passenger seat, she hurriedly locked the house and climbed into the driving seat. Oh boy, was she ever in the driving seat!
Her mind was a whirl, an incendiary mixture of so many things: there were the memories of her old employer Ruth Lessmilker, and the disgraceful, sordid procedures which eventually led to the doctor being expelled
