Chapter – 6
Art’s mother and Aunt Mable went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Art had to run out to the store to get some bread. His father handed him a five dollar bill and Art walked the two blocks to the store, bought the bread, and returned. He went around to the kitchen door and overheard a strange conversation. His mother was asking a question when he arrived.
“Well, how is he?”
“As he would say, ‘Wow’.”
“Is he as scared as Herb was?”
